TOP FIVE WEDNESDAY: Five fictional jobs I want

(Top Five Wednesday was created by GingerReadsLainey. Find out more at the Goodreads group!)

There are a lot of real world jobs I want - journalist, proofreader, head of a publishing house - but all of those are vaguely attainable, if I put in the hours and try my hardest.
These five jobs are not so easy to do, because they're all fictional. I bet I'd be great at all of them, though!

5) Demon hunter

Sam and Dean are always distracted from their job by the familial tension. I'd cut all ties and roam the country getting rid of demons properly - even if my solo work would end up getting me killed.

4) Pokemon trainer

BECAUSE WHO WOULDN'T?!

3) Dinosaur zookeeper

This never works for long: we've all seen at least one of the Jurassics and know that dinosaurs cannot be tamed. There was a cute little children's area in 'Jurassic World', though, where the little ones could ride baby dinosaurs as though they were in a petting zoo. I'd love to be the one caring for them behind the scenes, getting lots of mini stegosaur cuddles!

2) Vampire Slayer

Some vampires seem nice enough, but the majority of them deserve a good old stake through the heart. I'd love to be like Buffy the Vampire Slayer - can you think of anyone more awesome?

1) Writer for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

At many points while I was reading Douglas Adam's trilogy of five, I found myself dreaming about being Ford Prefect. Not because of his carefree attitude and penchant for alcohol, but because I'd love to write for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, visiting places far and wide and writing about them for the biggest travel guide in the universe.

I hope you enjoyed this Top Five Wednesday! If you could have any job, what would you choose?

  1. Ooh yes hunters! But I guess since hunters is a family business in the case of Sam and Dean, they can't cut ties with the family instantly you know? I love how close knit their hunter family is though, even it always distract them from the job!

    1. I know, but it would be so much easier if they could! Dean especially would be more productive if he wasn't looking out for Sam - he has such low self-interest that he'd be throwing himself into hordes of monsters without a second thought :P
