Also released this week, there were new tracks from CKY, Nothing But Thieves, Motionless in White, Sorority Noise, AFI, Haim, Bleachers, Dreamcar, Beartooth, Skrillex, Lany, Thrice, Papa Roach, State Champs, Slipknot, Doll Skin, Ed Sheeran, Biffy Clyro and Halsey, while Patent Pending, Veridian and This Wild Life both released covers of vastly different songs!
Some more exciting tour announcements:
- Nothing But Thieves are playing shows across the UK throughout May. Airways and Cortes are supporting.
- Vanna have released the dates for their farewell tour. They're playing shows across America in June and August; hopefully overseas dates are on their way.
- Highly Suspect added new dates to their American tour, playing throughout July and August.
- Bad Religion are touring Europe and the UK throughout July and August.
- From July to October, Linkin Park are headlining shows across America. Support at select dates comes from Machine Gun Kelly and One OK Rock...
- ...while two of the July tour dates will be co-headline shows with blink-182. Machine Gun Kelly and Wu Tang Clan will perform at these dates.
- Thy Art Is Murder and Decapitated have announced the Double Homicide tour: a co-headline tour calling at dates across America throughout August and September. Support comes from Fallujah and Ghost Bath.
- Nothing are touring Europe and the UK during August and September.
- Halsey has released the dates for the first installment of the 'hopeless fountain kingdom' world tour. From September to November, she'll be touring North America and Canada with PartyNextDoor and Charli XCX.
- Mayday Parade are taking their 'A Lesson in Romantics' 10th anniversary tour to Australia and New Zealand in October, and are taking This Wild Life along for the ride.
- You Me At Six are touring Germany in October.
- Don Broco have announced their biggest UK show EVER - they're headlining Alexandra Palace on November 11th.
There were a heck of a lot more album announcements this week:
- Rancid announced their new album, 'Trouble Maker', which will hit the shelves on the 9th of June.
- The Vamps are returning with 'Night & Day' on July 14th.
- Fangclub announced details of their self-titled debut album, which will be released on August 4th.
- Finally, Nothing But Thieves are releasing their second album, 'Broken Machine', on September 8th.

- Sadly, ex-Black Flag bassist Cel Revuelta has passed away after battling cancer.
- Brent Hinds from Mastodon got engaged during the band's concert in Birmingham, Alabama...
- ...and Don Broco's bassist Tom Doyle "livestreamed his wedding".
- Example announced that his wife Erin is pregnant with their second son. Congratulations!
- Fall Out Boy revealed that one of the supports for their recently announced 'Mania' tour is blackbear. It'll be interesting to see who that other special guest is...
- Deftones had to cancel their show in Cologne after frontman Chino Moreno broke his foot...
- ...while The Damned had to postpone two shows after Captain Sensible was not very sensible, fell off stage and broke a rib.
- Those Who Fear have called it a day...
- ...and Modestep's Tony Friend revealed that he'd parted ways with the band, who are continuing on as a duo.
- Candy Hearts has become Best Ex. Hear their first song under the new moniker here.
- Authority Zero have signed to Bird Attack Records.
- Cute Is What We Aim For frontman Shaant Hacikyan has been problematic on Twitter once more. Seriously considering skipping their set at Slam Dunk festival, because this guy is a tool.
- Having left Of Mice & Men, Austin Carlile is now coaching youth baseball.
- There were more festival announcements, this week from Boardmasters, Austin City Limits and '77 Montreal.
- Finishing on a happy note, ex-My Chemical Romance bassist Mikey Way is now a father! Mikey's wife, Kristen, announced the arrival of Rowan Louise Way with this adorable photo.
