There were also new releases from Linkin Park, Casey, Grumble Bee, K. Flay, Alvarez Kings, The Classic CrimeMGK, Knuckle Puck and Anarbor. It's been a busy week!

More tour announcements, you say?:
  • Hey Violet will be playing some scattered shows throughout Europe and the UK in April and May. Support comes from Jessarae. 
  • Animals As Leaders revealed the dates on their Madness of Many tour, running throughout the US in May and June. Support comes from Veil of Maya and Alluvia. 
  • Avenged Sevenfold have announced more US headline shows. Support at three dates comes from Volbeat, while A Day To Remember are supporting at the other five dates. 
  • The Offspring and Sublime With Rome have announced a co-headline tour, calling at dates across America in both July and September.
  • Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup fame is bringing his 'Heartache & Hilarity' tour to the UK in September
  • Metallica have finally unveiled their UK and European tour dates, running from September through to May 2018. Phew!
  • Weezer will be headlining shows across the UK in October.
In other news:
  • Chuck Berry passed away at 90. RIP. 
  • To further prove they're the biggest band on the planet, twenty one pilots' 'Blurryface' went triple platinum...
  • ...and revealed that 'We Don't Believe What's On TV' will be on the 'Power Rangers' soundtrack. Nice.   
  • Moose Blood had to cancel two dates of their current US tour due to an impending blizzard. Boston has already been rescheduled to the 26th of July, but no news yet on whether Montreal will eventually go ahead.
  • Creeper cancelled their appearance at Teddy Rocks festival, due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts...
  • ...while vocalist Will Gould appeared on stage with Waterparks at their show in Southampton. 
  • I Prevail weren't happy about rumours that they bought their success.  
  • PVRIS have followed in Panic! at the Disco's footsteps, releasing their own limited edition t-shirt to raise money for Planned Parenthood...
  • ...while vocalist Lynn Gunn has teamed up with Circa Waves...
  • ...and they've announced that Fickle Friends will be supporting them at their European shows in May.
  • The Amazons released details of their self-titled debut album.
  • Capture the Crown have split...
  • ...but they've already launched their new project, Capture
  • All kind of beef has been going down in the A Skylit Drive camp. Nick claimed that Jag resigned as vocalist, while Jag says that's a load of bullshit. Will be interesting to see how this develops in the coming weeks.
  • Meanwhile, there's also been a lot of tension between Thy Art Is Murder and Suicide Silence...
  • ...the latter of which smashed all their gear on stage this week. Looks like things are going well!   
  • Lucy Spraggan was attacked after her show in Brighton.
  • Raad Soudani of Volumes broke his leg at a recent show, and is continuing the tour. What a badass! 
  • blink-182 revealed that A Day To Remember, Lower Than Atlantis and SWMRS will be joining them on their European tour this summer.
  • More festival announcements: even more bands were added to Slam Dunk, while the first four bands on this year's Warped tour were confirmed.
